Recent decline in qualityI have been using this eyeliner for over 10 years and loved it. Within the past year it has become horrible in quality. You use it once, and it becomes a dry clumpy mess that you have to clean every time to have a smooth-ish application. I’ve bought at least five of these in 2024 and they’ve all flopped. My most recent purchase straight from the box was unusable. The entire inside was dry, the brush was frayed and I couldn’t get any of the liner to come out. Sad to say I’m going to have to find a new one to use. Being back the old formula please!

They ruined a perfect eyelinerThis was my favorite liquid liner for years. Then all of a sudden I received a liner that was all dried out. I thought it was a fluke, so I went in store and purchased another one. That too was dried out and gloopy. I read recent reviews and saw I was not the only one who was having this issue. I’m so sad. Why would they change something that was already perfect? Shame.

Not what it used to beNot sure what happing but I bought this eyeliner from two different stores and both were dried out and clumped. This is my go to for any time I wear makeup and for this past holiday season I didn’t wear any eyeliner. Super frustrating , the new formula is clearly not the best. I hope NYX reads all these reviews and does something about it.

Change back the formula.I just purchased this today and it’s completely dried out. This used to be a really good product. The only one I used but if the formula was changed, change it back. What a waste of money and product.

horrible, frustrating. give us the old formulathis was my favorite liner for years. i loved the matte finish, how true black it was, how perfect the formula was, and the brush was perfect as well. all these reformulations are awful and has been getting consistently worse for years. it's incredibly frustrating considering this is an affordable price, but not worth it at all anymore. looking for a replacement and will not be switching to the waterproof formula either. the last 3 times i've bought this liner, the formula is too thick and clumpy to work with, dries too quickly to manipulate, and the brush is usually frayed and i see many others having this issue. absolutely awful and i hate it.
