Glow from within on a budget
I love these creams. I bought two and will be returning for the other two shades. I love a glow from within seamless highlight to go with my natural good skin base. I haven’t tried it yet but I feel that you can use this as a primer under neath foundation and have a wonderful candlelit luminous finish to your makeup. I love them as highlighters as they can go head to head with more expensive cream highlights. I wish they would expand the shade range though as glossier highlighter concentrate in umber is the only cream highlight to go to a depth that people with skin darker than mind can appreciate and glossier price points are not accessible to everyone.

Great Product for Strobing !
I bought this product back in April and LOVE it! I use the strobing method now instead of contouring because it's a heatwave right now in new york---and this product is amazing! I love it! And brown skinned girls--this product--unlike the awful contouring stick--is GREAT for our skin tones! It makes my skin glow! True to its title! Get it and you will be happy! I use it EVERYDAY! :)

Perfect Highlight
I purchased "Gleam" about a month ago. I don't use it often but when I do, I receive a lot of compliments, with most people saying that my skin looks healthy and a radiant glow to it. Even though my skin type is oily, I don't feel and I don't notice an excessive shine to my skin when I use this product. If I want a subtle highlight, I get a little on my fingertips and gently press it to the areas that I wish to highlight (inner corner of my eye, cheekbones, chin, and cupid's bow). If I want an extreme highlight, I simply spray my brush with a little of the "Matte Finishing Spray" and use the product in a little wetter state. I have noticed that it is a little difficult to blend into the skin in a drier state, but working with a little product at a time helps.

I bought this about a month ago in the shade "Gleam". I was super excited to use it, but when I got to applying it to my face, the highlight would not blend unless I worked as quickly as possible. I noticed when I put it on my cheekbones and inner corners of my eyes that the glitter looked chunky and unnatural. However, It did look very good on my nose. I also noticed that when light hit my face on those high areas where the highlighter was, the glitter was really in your face. It looked less like a glowy higher and more like straight up glitter. I don't know, it was an okay product, but there are lots of better options for the same price.

Sunbeam is exactly as described! Excellent dupe for Benefits High Beam! Packaging is better than High Beam also... More hygienic (not a bottle with brush)and easier to get the prefect amount out! High Five Nyx!! :)

Takes some work
I was SO excited to use this but was very disappointed the first time I tried it. I used it right after applying my foundation as contouring and used it to highlight my cheek bones, bridge of my nose, center of my forehead, and a little dab on my chin and I used a stippling brush to apply it. HOWEVER, it looked caked on, and looked awful when set with my NYX HD powder. So then, I washed my face, determined to get it right, and once doing my entire makeup look, I dabbed a bit of this on my cheekbones, bridge of my nose, brow bone, inner corner of my eyes, and the bow of my lips to highlight and this time I used it sparingly and with my finger and set it with NYX matte setting spray and it looked FLAWLESS. Just enough shimmer to catch the light and create a glow without looking clownish!

really good product
i have pretty dry skin, and most products meant to even out skin tone make my skin look extremely flat and unhealthy, even if it is a moisturizing product. i always avoided illuminators, though, because i assumed they would only look good with heavier makeup. i was even more skeptical about it being liquid, but i got the illuminator in the lightest color available and it works so well! you hardly have to use any, and its not too shimmery that it looks unnatural. gave my skin a nice healthy glow.
the only problem with the product is that you have to apply it in a very specific way. definitely not something to do with your fingers/hands. i used a soft blush brush and it looked fine.

This illuminator is absolutely stunning and very affordable, which is an obvious plus. It does what the title says, illuminate. If you're looking for an afforable highlighter that gives you a "lit from within" glow, this is a good choice, but not if you're wanting to achieve a blinding effect. The two colors I got give the same amount of glow, just in different tones. Pure Gold, as you may guess, is a golden highlight, while Gleam is more pink/rose gold. What I really love about these is that it gets your skin glowing under makeup, over makeup, or by itself. Mixing some with your moisturizer bumps up the wattage significantly and looks great for all over the body. I even used it on my lips to see what would happen. It gave them a slight metallic look, but didn't last long at all. On the skin though, it lasted ALL DAY!
