[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product complimentary for my honest review. The packaging is nice and sleek. The product comes out in the consistency of a thicker foundation but spreads a lot smoother. I like the slight sheen, as I am not a fan of glittery primer. However, it does not behave like a good primer should. My pores and lines were just as visible as before. Nothing was blurred before or after foundation. If youre looking for a primer to prime your foundation, this is not the one for you. If your skin is near-perfect, you dont need foundation and you just want a slight glow, this would work great.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I was hesitant to trying this product because I dont like a glowing look to my make up because It just makes me think of how oily my skin can be and I usually alway buy matte everything but the primer did it job! I been wearing the make up for about 12 hour now and it looks exactly how it did this morning and I have this beautiful glow to skin right now. I would totally recommend this primer to anyone who wants a glowing look to their make up. I also used the finishing powder and illuminating powered also great options to finish the look. I received this item complimentary for my honest opinion.

NYX strobe cream not Macs
Maybe because I got the tone that closest to my skin tone. This product forms stand out to me. I don’t put it on heavily as it doesn’t come with much product. Maybe if nyx sold it in roofs akin to the nosier Marian whippet argan oil I could spread it on more densely and possible get the pay off I would enjoy. It’s something like Macs strobe cream without Mac s prices and unfortunately you pay for that because you haven’t paid for that. It’s not fake changing but it’s a great subtle layer of shimmer that makes the makeup process more enjoyable for those who love to get ready and work in light layer to build a subtle and soft effect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received this product, I didnt have high hopes because Ive yet to find a drugstore primer I liked. Wow, though. This looks great under makeup for a Dewey look. Its pretty illuminating but not Twilight vampire status. I love the way my skin looked. I used it with the Too Faced Tutti Frutti Dew You foundation and they went perfectly together. However, I wouldnt recommend using all three products in this line together unless you like to have a yellowish shimmery tint. I have normal skin and am pretty fair. Id definitely buy it and recommend anyone to try it. I received this complimentary product from Influenster for testing purposes.

As far as primers go, this did the job. Since I typically use medium-full coverage foundations with a matte finish it seemed counter intuitive to use those, so I stuck with the finishing powder and highlighter also provided from Nyx.
Everything stayed put, and my skin didn't feel dried out by this primer, but it instead left my skin feeling slick rather than particularly hydrated, soft or smooth. I would say for anyone concerned with texture this wouldn't be a good choice. But as far as the "glass skin" look, it will do the trick.

Normally I would have looked past this product because Nyx is not something I would normally buy. This primer is amazing and meshed really nicely with my Kosas tinted oil foundation (which normally doesnt do well with primer). I loved how it gave me a natural dewey look! If you want something Lowkey but dewy then this product is definitely for you, the other parts of the collections are great to add on if you want a more intense look, as well. Either way they all look great on their own!

I got all three items, the primer, finishing powder and highlighter, and out of all three I have already reached for the primer more than the others. Its not pore filling, but also doesnt leave you greasy. I have combo oily skin and I mixed this with my pore filling primer and it was a dream. I definitely recommend if you like that glow from within to peek through your foundation. Now it doesnt looks like an oil slick glassy but as I said looks like a glow from with in.

I have never bought NYX products, Im excited that I got to try this primer for free thanks to Influenster. I love that it doesnt Just sing into your pores, it lays right over you acne scars, blemishes and pores. It is a very high gloss so that kind of scare me thinking I was gonna look like a light beam but once you get your concealer and foundation on your face just looks flawless. It is very light weight, as like butter going onto your skin. My make up literally last all day no touchups. Which thats a A+ in my book!
