I love the shade range of these pencils! Since they are automatic and affordable they are almost impossible to ignore for being a great value! The color payoff is great and they do an honorable job of lining your lips and keeping whatever you put on top of them in place. I will say that these can be a bit drying and can tug on your lips (or require some work to get the color payoff that they are capable of), but for the price that's really not a problem. I know that if I wanted a smooth-as-silk lip liner I would be buying it from a high-end line like Dior or Armani. These really are great for the price and it can be a good thing that they need some tug to go on: it means that once they're on, they aren't going anywhere!

Personally I am not huge on lip products when it comes to makeup but one day I decided to give it a try. I did my research on the best lip liners and lip sticks and found so many good reviews about this lip liner. The color I decided to purchase is "MLP10 NUDE/DIAPHANE" and I have to say I am shockingly impressed by this product. I have used lip liners before but none of them were like this one. It goes on so smooth, it lasts a long time and the color is so pigmented. I now wear this product almost everyday and can honestly say it is one of the best lip products I have used. NYX you have turned this lip stick hater into a huge fan of lip products.

I got tired of constantly having to sharpen my NYX lip pencils so I decided to give these a try. I must say, as far as the color and quality, these pencils are great. The color pay off is gorgeous and they glide on really easily, plus, it stays on my lips pretty much all day long, even after drinking and eating. The only thing about these that prevents me from giving a 5 heart rating is the fact that they seem to break off really easily. Maybe it's just me but I find that even when I'm very careful with these and only twist up just enough to put on my lips, I still end up with the liner breaking off in the tube. The first time I got one, it broke off completely and I ended up having to buy another one and the same thing just happened to the new one. Kind of disappointing because other than that, it is a great product.

Only the best lip liners!
With my first purchase, I bought Plum, Hot Pink and Black Lips. I only got these because of the hype, and I instantly fell in love. When I finished off my favorite-Hot Pink- I repurchased that and got Peony as well. I love these things! Even Plum and Black Lips won't stain! Well, they will if you just wash them off with water, but if you use a good makeup remover, the stain comes straight off!

It kept BREAKING!!!!
i bought this about 2 months ago in the shade "Nude". the shade was perfect, and was great not only with a nude lipstick i bought it to use with, but also with glosses, just to keep the glosses in place. but after about 2 uses, part of the tip broke off. now EVERY TIME i have used it since then the tip has broken. no matter how little pressure i put on, it breaks. i think maybe the formula is much to dry, because it also fails to glide onto the lips. if your lips re not PERFECTLY smooth, you will not be able to use this product. maybe it is just the shade i used, but it had barely any color and was just way too dry and it kept breaking. would give it 0 stars if i could. i love love love nyx, but im disappointed in this product. all their other products are amazing tho.

Perfect!!!
I bought the black lip-liner to go with a black lipstick (which I was struggling to find a liner to go with) I bought for Halloween. Me being me, I had to test the liner with the lipstick as soon as I got it (picture is of my trial run with the lipstick). I have absolutely no complaints. It was easy to apply, no dragging or looking too dry, and it matched the shade of lipstick perfectly.

Great lip liner
I love this lip liner but, the packaging is a little false. The packaging looks darker than the accual colors. I would recommend going to a store that has Nyx makeup ands watching it first. Overall they are really smooth and nice shades.

My ONLY lip liner I will use!
The Sand Beige color will mix with most lipsticks on me. It blends beautifully. I receive compliments on my “lips”, which is mainly due to this mechanical lip liner and color
