Nothing extraordinary
The formula is true to what they claim, it is lightweight. I wouldn’t say that it gives you much of a smoother look, but the formula does make it feel smoother. I also don’t think it works that great if you have oily eyelids, it will give you a nice duration, but the oils keep picking through after a long time.

Good base, keeps eyeshadow on all day.
Small, light weight packaging. Slight tacky texture with slight smell but not an issue. Medium coverage, but once dried keeps my eyeshadow on for hours without smudging. Makes my eyeshadow colours pop.

Great base for oily skin
I don’t usually prefer eyeshadow bases because I feel that I get too oily for the product. I did appreciate how NXY eyeshadow base helped my eyeshadow stay put. I didn’t see a ton of fallout throughout the day. I also did not get irritated, which I have also struggled with as I used other brands.

The smell and texture
This product was pricy for its job. I didn’t really like the feel of it on my eyelid it may just be a sensory thing. It did make my eyeshadow last an hour or 2 longer. It smelt of chemicals and not something I would trust on my eyelids. The packaging was everyday cardboard I would not purchase again

Eyeshadow base
I've been using the NYX Professional Makeup HD Eyeshadow Base for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed with the results. As someone with oily eyelids, finding an eyeshadow primer that truly helps my eyeshadow stay in place without creasing has always been a challenge—but this base does the job beautifully!
