A terrific look with a powder finish
I love this product. I only discovered it recently. My skin is fair, so I bought the lighter color. I live in Southern California where it can be humid or very dry, so I no longer use a liquid foundation. I apply a good sunscreen (I like Banana Boat dry version) and then the NYX illuminator, and a bit of blush, and this powder. I bought one for use "on the go" because it has such a flawless finish. My skin is quite good for my age but I have a lot of light facial hair and this doesn't make it stand out like the liquid product did. The feel of this powder is exquisite. Please make a darker shade with PINK undertones, not ORANGE.

Really smooth and long lasting loose powder!
This is my first finishing powder I've brought but I love it. It makes my skin so smooth, make my make up last longer, and tones down any makeup that I put on too much. The color I chose was perfect for my skin tone. I honestly think that even if one would choose a darker or lighter color there would be no problem since it is so easy to blend into your natural skin tone. I put this over my bare minerals matte foundation and my makeup goes nowhere and looks flawless for the rest of the day. It also mattifies my oily areas for the first 4 hours or so but I don't mind touching up or blotting.

Horrible White Cast
Firstly, I have tons of NYX makeup...in fact, it's my preference.
So I was super excited and anxiously waiting for this finishing powder...only to end up super disappointed :(
When I initially tried this powder I thought it was my camera...I normally wear makeup when I go out on the weekends etc. So basically mostly at night.
Upon taking a pic to send to my friend I couldn't get a pic that didn't have a ghost face.
So I brought the powder to work to give it another try during the day time.
Just awful! If I cannot take a picture with flash while wearing this finishing powder then it's safe to say the powder is useless.
I should be able to use this powder day, night, without flash, and with flash.
I've included tons of pictures taken inside of my office.
Notice there's a huge window so plenty of natural light comes into my office.
So very disappointed NYX! :(

Great Price
This is the first time I have purchased the NYX mineral finishing powder. The price is comparable to that of a drug store (wow) so I thought I would give it a try. I was impressed. The powder sets nicely over my concealer and foundation without feeling "heavy". It seems to hold up well in the heat which is a major plus. Although I am happy that the container is filled completely, the opening needs a little work. You will need to be careful as large amounts of powder come out at once and can become a little messy.

No no for women of color
I bought this thinking it would be better that the airspun and boy was I wrong! Left a horrible white cast when the flash was on. I would recommend it unless you plan on taking pictures without using the flash!

I always thought a powder was a powder was a powder. Until I got this one. Normally my skin looks oily after a few hours, but this one looked great all day, and never got dewy. Love it.

A lighter color.
Can there be a lighter color than the light/medium? I love what it does, but it turns my foundation a little orangey.l

Its ALL LOVE until I take a picture
I love this powder. Its very smooth and silky on my normal skin. I don't use it all over my face, I simply use it in my under eye area to set my concealer. This has been an excellent go to for diminishing creases under my eyes. I think its the silicon formula. I gave this 3 stars however because its not the greatest for flash photography. I took a picture with it and it looked like I had reflective glass under my eyes lol. Other than that this product is great. If they can fix that, it's definitely something I would purchase again!
